How long does a bathroom renovation take?
Typically a bathroom will take between 4 - 6 weeks depending on the degree of difficulty and amount of tiling involved. Acrylic shower option and minimal tiling is around 3 weeks and a fully tiled bathroom with custom glass can be 5 - 6 weeks.
What do bathrooms cost?
A new bathroom consists roughly one third product and tiles, and the two thirds labour. For a simple bathroom make over budget for $22 - 30K. If you are after a mid range option budget for $30 - 39K, which may be fully tiled with possibly a wet area shower with custom glass. A top end bathroom would cost $40K+, as it would include higher end custom made products and be a fully tiled bathroom.
|Can I buy product only and organise my own trades?
Absolutely, yes! Home Trends supply product only package deals, recommend installers plus offer advice along the way. We also look after the second stage of a project i.e. the waterproofing/ tiling and glass installation. The waterproofing is often a crucial concern, so this option offers peace of mind with our warranties.

|Do you offer free quotes?
Yes. Home Trends bathroom consultants can either meet with you in our tile and bathroom showroom if you already have plans, or provide in-home consultation. Following the initial discussion and measure up we provide a detailed quote including all fittings, tiles, and installation cost estimate.
How does the estimate become a fixed quote?
To move to the next stage we can get the trades to quote following a site visit. This is undertaken after a $1,000 fully refundable deposit is paid. You will then know exactly what is involved from the trades perspective and have added confidence that there won’t be any nasty surprises come start day.
